Export MS Outlook Contacts to Lotus Notes

To export MS Outlook Contacts to Lotus Notes, you are required to follow two steps as follows:

• Export MS Outlook to vCard File
• Import vCard File to Lotus Notes Address Book (names.nsf)

Export MS Outlook Contacts to vCard File

• Open SysTools vCard Export
• Go to Start menu » Programs » SysTools vCard Export » SysTools vCard Export. Software will display the following screen:

• Select Outlook PST file. Choose Default Outlook Contacts and click on Scan Outlook Contacts button
  
  
  
• If you want to export contacts from some other PST file then choose Select Other Outlook File, after Browse button will be activated, Click on Browse button to select Outlook PST file
  
  
  
• After Clicking Browse button following screen appears:
  
  
  
  
• Choose or select PST file and Click on Open button.
• Now Click on Scan Outlook Contacts button from the following screen:

• Then software will start scanning the PST File or MS Outlook Contacts as follows:
  
  
  
  
• After scanning selected PST file, software will display all the contacts from MS Outlook Contacts file (PST), Software rearrange the contacts in specific folders in an alphabetical order. Software provides you to view contact information before saving contacts to vCard File.
  
  
  

• Now click on Save Contacts button from the right top of the screen to convert Outlook contacts to vCard file.
  
  
  
  
• Select vCard File. Then click on Start Conversion button to convert Outlook Contacts to vCard File.
  
  
  
  
• Now choose the location where you want to save the contacts from the following box:
  
  
  
  
• Click on OK button. Then software will start converting Outlook Contacts to vCard, WAB or MS Excel file as shown below:
  
  
  
  

• After converting MS Outlook Contacts to vCard file, the software will display you the number of contacts exported successfully as shown below:
  
  

Import vCard File to Lotus Notes Address Book

• Open Lotus Notes. Go to Start menu » Programs » Lotus Application » Lotus Notes. Then it will display the following screen:
  
  
  
  
• Navigate to Database from Lotus Notes File menu and go to New as shown below:
  
  
  
  
• Now type name of the new Lotus Notes database such as "msoutlookcontacts" in its Title field and select Personal address Book from Template box and click on OK from the following box:
  
  
  
  
• Then Navigate to Import from Lotus Notes File menu as shown below:
  
  
  
  
• Lotus Notes will display following box. Select vCard from Files of type structure as shown below:
  
  
  
  
  
• Now locate vCard (VCF) file. Click on Import button from following screen:
  
  
  
  
• After this Lotus Notes import all the contacts from vCard file to its Lotus Notes msoutlookcontacts.nsf file as shown below:
